ATP has a number of different AEROgates recommended for Cement, Sand, Soda Ash and fine commodity services.
Available in weld on or bolt on versions, the 13 x 42 AEROgates have heavy duty bolt on frames , are available in either the 32 or 64 hole bolting patterns and come standard with under door seals to reduce product “puffing” when mated with unloading equipment . They can also be customized with options including wide flange base, split boot hood or boot clips depending on the needs of the facility.
To replace smaller weld on 13 x 24 side by side gates, we offer our 21 x 24 AEROgates with an adapter which increases the unloading area and updates the car to bolt on style for future change out. These gates and adapters can also be provided with a coupling tube allowing both gates to be operated in a single operation from either side of the car.
When clearance between the bottom of the gate and the top of the rail is a concern, we recommend the 21 x 54 models. Designed to fit the same 32 or 64 hole bolting flange as the 13 x 42 gates and an overall height of only 6 7/8”, these gates have the shallowest profile available.
Manufactured with powder coating to protect against rust, all styles have high endurance UHMW wiper seals which eliminate many of the maintenance and contamination issues associated with brush or carpet seals, create a near water tight seal and assist in cleaning commodity from the door slide as it is closed.
These AEROgates include the patented bearing tube spacers which reduce shaft deflection eliminating door plate skipping, our simple positive inertia automatic lock design, bronze glide rails resulting in low operating torque.
