The 43 x 39 model with reinforced bolting flange fits the same 66 hole pattern as the standard 30 x 30 grain gate but nearly doubles the opening size while still maintaining acceptable operating torques even under 65 lb per cubic foot loads . Hidden side rails prevent commodity bridging between the gate side and rails.
For plastic pellet cars being converted to this service sector, we offer our 24 x 48 AEROgate designed to match the 32 bolt hole pattern of the pneumatic gates with which the cars were originally equipped.
If cars are being built for this type of service, we recommend our oversize 43 x 54 AEROgate. Offering the largest opening in the industry, application of this part does require a different hopper size and bolting flange than standard gate.
